Audi Restoration in Germany: High-quality restoration services for classic Audi models
Welcome to Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration, your expert for the restoration of classic Audi models in Germany. Our passion for classic cars and our technical know-how make us the ideal partner for the restoration and care of your valuable Audi. We have specialized in the restoration of a wide range of Audi models, including the legendary Audi 100 Coupé C1, built in 1972, as well as other iconic models that have shaped Audi's history.
The importance of classic Audi models
Audi is a brand that stands for innovation, quality and timeless design. For decades, Audi has produced a number of models that have become classics and are now appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts around the world. Restoring these vehicles requires a deep understanding of their history, engineering and aesthetic features. Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration we understand the importance of these vehicles and treat each model with the care and respect it deserves.
Audi 100 Coupé C1 (1972): An icon of the 70s
Launched in 1972, the Audi 100 Coupé C1 is an outstanding example of the design and engineering of the era. With its elegant, coupé-like lines and powerful engine, this model embodies the progress Audi made in the 1970s. In restoring this model, we focus on preserving the original integrity of the car while using the most modern restoration techniques to restore the car to its original glory. This includes the careful restoration of the bodywork, the refurbishment of the interior and the technical overhaul of the drivetrain and electrical system.
Restoration of the Audi Quattro: The Pioneer of All-Wheel Drive
The Audi Quattro, first introduced in 1980, was a revolutionary vehicle that established all-wheel drive in the passenger car market. Its success in motorsport, particularly in the World Rally Championship, made it a legend. When restoring an Audi Quattro, we place particular emphasis on preserving the unique all-wheel drive technology that makes this vehicle so special. This includes not only technical repairs, but also preserving the iconic design that makes the Quattro an instantly recognizable classic.
Auto Union 1000 Sp: An elegant representative of the middle class
The Auto Union 1000 Sp, produced between 1958 and 1965, is another model that was groundbreaking for its time. With its compact size and modern design, the Auto Union 1000 Sp set new standards in the mid-range segment. Restoring this model requires special attention to detail to preserve the car's original character. This includes restoring the interior with its characteristic materials and colors, as well as accurately replicating the original paintwork that makes this car so appealing.
Audi V8: Luxury and performance combined
The Audi V8, which was produced from 1988 to 1994, was Audi's first foray into the luxury class. This car combines luxurious features with powerful engines and is now a sought-after classic. Restoring an Audi V8 with us includes a complete overhaul of the luxurious interior, including the fine wood inlays and leather seats, as well as the technical repair of the powerful V8 engine. Our experts ensure that this car regains its original luxury and performance.
Audi 60: The pioneer of the compact car
The Audi 60, produced between 1968 and 1972, is a well-known but equally important model in Audi's history. A compact and efficient small car, it was the forerunner of the Audi A4 and quickly established itself as a reliable city car. When restoring this model, we take care to preserve the simple but sophisticated technology while improving comfort and safety by carefully revising the mechanics and electrics.
Audi 200 C2: Luxury class in the 80s
The Audi 200 C2, which was produced from 1979 to 1984, was a further development of the Audi 100, but with significantly more luxury and performance. As a representative of the upper middle class, it was characterized by its rich equipment and powerful engines. Restoring an Audi 200 C2 with us means that we concentrate on restoring the luxurious interior, carefully reworking the bodywork and technically repairing the powerful engines.
The Challenges of Audi Restoration
Restoring classic Audi models is a demanding task that requires expertise, precision and an in-depth knowledge of the brand's history. Each model brings its own challenges, be it sourcing rare original parts, reconstructing historic paintwork or restoring technical features that characterise Audi vehicles. Our team at Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration consists of experienced specialists who know every detail and love the challenge of breathing new life into these vehicles.
Bodywork: Perfection in every detail
The body of a classic Audi vehicle is often the first thing that catches the eye, and the quality of the restoration is crucial here. Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration we use the latest techniques to remove rust and damage and return the bodywork to its original condition. This includes the exact replication of historical paintwork, the restoration or replacement of trim and the careful adjustment of body panels to ensure a perfect fit.
Interior restoration: preserving the original flair
The interior of a classic Audi is another key element that requires careful attention. The original fabrics, leather, dashboards and trims contribute significantly to the authenticity of the car. We take great care to restore these elements as faithfully to the original as possible or, if necessary, replace them with high-quality reproductions. In doing so, we take care to preserve the character and comfort of the car and to ensure that the interior not only visually but also functionally meets the high standards set by Audi.
Engine and drive: The soul of the vehicle
The engine and drive system are the heart of any vehicle and the restoration of classic Audi models focuses on the technical overhaul of these components. We offer comprehensive engine overhauls, ranging from replacing worn parts to fine-tuning the engine to ensure the performance and reliability these vehicles deserve. The transmission and chassis are also carefully checked and, if necessary, overhauled to ensure perfect driveability.
Electrics and Electronics: Modern Solutions for Classic Vehicles
The electrics and electronics in classic vehicles often pose a particular challenge, as many systems have been replaced or modified over the years. Our team at Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration specializes in checking, repairing or replacing these systems with modern but unobtrusive solutions that improve functionality without affecting the original character of the vehicle. Whether it is renewing the lighting, repairing the on-board electronics or installing modern safety features - we ensure that your Audi remains both functional and authentic.
Time travel with every kilometer
Restoring a classic Audi is more than just repairing an old car – it is a journey into the past that honors the history and heritage of the Audi brand. Each model tells its own story and carries the spirit of its time. Youngtimer Classic Car Restoration We are proud to continue telling these stories by bringing these vehicles back to life and giving their owners the opportunity to bring a piece of automotive history onto the road.
Conclusion: A passion for perfection
The restoration of classic Audi models requires dedication, expertise and a deep understanding of the technology and aesthetics of these vehicles. About Audi

Audi emerged from Auto Union, which was founded in 1932 through the merger of Audi, Horch, Wanderer and DKW. After the Second World War, Mercedes-Benz took over Auto Union in 1958, but used it mainly to produce small DKW models with two-stroke engines. The Audi brand played hardly any role during this period.

In 1965, Mercedes sold Auto Union to Volkswagen, which revived the Audi brand. The turning point came in 1969 with the introduction of the Audi 100, which established Audi as an innovative car manufacturer. Since then, Audi has developed under VW into a globally successful premium brand that stands for progress and quality.
