This style icon from the 1950s to the 1970s came to us from Berlin. As you can see at first glance, the year of manufacture does not match the front or headlights. Every car has its own story. The owner's idea was to bring the car into the 21st century and equip it with an electric drive. In the end, he abandoned the idea and sold the car. It's a shame, we were so looking forward to our first Göttin and at the same time our first electric vehicle.

The Citroën DS, introduced in 1955, is considered a milestone in automotive history. This iconic vehicle combined advanced design with technical innovation and is today a sought-after classic car, especially in the restoration scene.

The DS was characterized by its avant-garde body shape, designed by Flaminio Bertoni. The streamlined silhouette and hydropneumatic suspension offered unprecedented driving comfort. The innovative suspension made it possible to almost completely absorb uneven ground and automatically adjust the vehicle's level.

Under the hood of the Citroën DS there was initially a 1.9-liter engine, which was later replaced by more powerful variants. The DS was also one of the first vehicles to have disc brakes, which significantly improved safety.

For lovers of classic car restoration, the Citroën DS offers numerous possibilities. From restoring the original interior to overhauling the complex suspension technology - every restoration is a challenge and a pleasure at the same time. The range of spare parts is diverse and specialist workshops are well prepared for the special features of the DS.

The DS is not only a technical marvel, but also a cultural icon. In the 1960s and 70s it was a status symbol and was loved by celebrities and heads of state alike. Today it stands for timeless elegance and engineering.

In summary, the Citroën DS is a vehicle that impresses with its technical sophistication and stylistic uniqueness. For restoration enthusiasts, it offers both challenges and the opportunity to preserve a piece of automotive history.
