This wonderful British sports car also came to us from nearby Berlin. Unfortunately, the car stood in a barn for years, which was anything but dry. Accident damage, rust in every conceivable place and missing parts made this project a real challenge. In the end, we were rewarded for our efforts by the owner with a 5* rating on Google and a follow-up project in the form of a Morgan plus 8.

From 1969 to 1976, the Triumph Motor Company produced the Triumph TR6, an iconic British sports car. The roadster is considered the epitome of the classic British sports car and is very popular with collectors and enthusiasts.

The striking design of the Triumph TR6, developed by the German design company Karmann, features clean lines, a long bonnet and a distinctive grille. The roadster body with its round twin headlights and powerful fenders gives the TR6 its unmistakable look.

Under the hood of the TR6 is a 2.5-litre six-cylinder engine that was available in a range of power outputs from 104 to 150bhp. This engine provided impressive acceleration and a top speed of around 190km/h, making the TR6 one of the most powerful sports cars of its era.

The interior of the TR6 was sporty and functional, with comfortable seats, a clear dashboard and a wooden steering wheel. The controls were easily accessible and ergonomically arranged to give the driver an optimal driving experience.

The Triumph TR6 was particularly successful in the American market and achieved high sales figures. This was due to its reliable technology and robust construction, which was specifically tailored to the needs of the North American market.
