Volvo PV 444H,1956

Czechia

In 2016, we restored this Swedish "tank" for a customer in the greater Cologne area. If all classic cars had had bodies made of Swedish steel up until the mid-1980s, many classic car workshops would be out of work today... Here, the sheet metal thickness is still given in mm without a zero before the decimal point. Of course, a Vovo also rusts, but with cars like the 444, Volvo laid the foundation for its reputation as an indestructible and safe car. Apart from new sills and some other minor rust damage, the bodywork needed next to no work. After 60 years, the engine was only cleaned, fitted with new piston rings and new seals, and to this day it runs like a sewing machine. Indestructible.
