This enchanting beauty from the far north came to us from Essen. Unfortunately, there had already been restoration attempts on this vehicle and it came to us completely disassembled. Be careful when buying such vintage cars: a box full of various screws etc. is not evidence of a quality restoration. We photograph, package and label all connecting and fastening elements. Our complete restoration, apart from the bodywork, also includes the engine, the transmission and the interior.

The P1800 was first introduced at the Brussels Motor Show in 1960 and received an immediate positive response. The car was designed by Pelle Petterson, a Swedish designer who was working for the Italian design studio Frua at the time. Under the hood of the P1800 was initially a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine producing 100bhp, later expanded to 2.0-litres producing 130bhp. This gave the car solid performance and enabled it to hold its own on the road. It was also known for its reliability and durability, making it a suitable everyday sports car.
The P1800 also became famous through the television series “The Saint” with Roger Moore as Simon Templar, as this car was used in the series and thus became known to a wider audience.
During its production period, there were several variants of the P1800, including the P1800 S Coupe (S = manufactured in Sweden) and most recently the P1800 ES, the latter known as the "Snow White Coffin" due to its unusual glass tailgate.
